OBA Annual Meeting - 2015

Meeting held on 2nd Day of Eid-Al-Fitr (July 20, 2015) 5PM - 8PM. It was a great success for the association. More than 100 fellows participated and everyone actively shared their views. 

Following points were discussed in the meeting.

• • Previous year meeting action items and its status, almost all the point are closed

  • Hira Scholars plan is now n action. 

  • Honorary Members Addition

  • It has been decided that honorary members will be added in the OBA. These members are well-wishers of Hira Public School & Hira OBA and would like to work through the platform of OBA for well-being of the community.

  • Batch wise representative

  • In order to achieve better coordination and reduce communication gap, it has been decided to identify representatives from each batch whose responsibility would be to remain in contact with others from the same batch and convey OBA messages.

  • Formation of Working Committee

  • In order to turn the decisions into action, a core committee will formed who will actively work in order achieve OBA goals.

  • Bank account for voluntary contribution

  • A bank account has been created where Old Boys or other well wishers will be able to contribute financially. Bank Account information can be found here.

  • ₹ 14000/- was collected in this meeting. Maximum contribution from individual was ₹ 6000/-

• There were some great suggestions like, more frequent meetings, focus on non-engineering and medical streams. Also, it was observed that we had a very short time to talk. People suggested to start meeting at 3:00PM instead of 5:00PM from next time.
